Project Manager for Nuclear Plant Design EngineeringWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the Nuclear plant Design Engineering capital Engineering Change (EC) portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple EC projects, coordinating between design teams, and ensuring the successful execution of planned activities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the ownership and management of EC portfolio planning software/tools.Facilitate coordination between cross-discipline design teams to ensure timely execution of ECs.Plan and schedule design resources, ensuring the right personnel are aligned with project needs.Prepare and plan for EC activities, including scoping, estimates, and contract initiation for external engineering products.Develop and manage design planning for large-scale projects.Work closely with design engineering leaders to ensure EC schedules are met and commitments are tracked.Enhance EC preparation and predictability through improved cross-discipline coordination and management.This position typically manages multiple White or Green I projects according to the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.Associate's degree or equivalent experience.Strong working knowledge of project management principles.Proficiency in decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving.Experience in project leadership and risk management.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively in team environments.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher.Utility-related technical certifications or training (e.g., PMI PMP or CAPM, CMII, PE).Experience in project scheduling and cost controls.Utility industry experience, especially in construction management.This role interacts with a wide range of professionals, from individual contributors to senior leadership, including executives.We strongly encourage veterans to apply!
