Entry-Level Data Engineer / Data Scientist

The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a motivated, recent graduate to join our team as an Entry-Level Data Engineer / Data Scientist. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in data analytics, statistical modeling, and programming who is eager to apply academic and project experience to real-world business problems. The candidate will support data pipeline development, statistical analysis, and visualization efforts across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building, cleaning, and maintaining large-scale datasets for analysis
Develop and support data pipelines and automated reporting processes
Conduct statistical and quantitative analysis to support business decision-making
Build dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics and reporting projects
Support ad hoc data requests and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or R)
Experience with Excel and data visualization tools
Familiarity with version control systems (GitHub/GitLab)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with statistical/regression modeling or predictive analytics
Exposure to PCA, KPI development, or dashboard design
Coursework or project experience in data structures, algorithms, or big data analytics
Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or RStudio
Position Pay Range:
$90,000 - $110,000 USD
