Solution Architect – Data Migration

Location: Bellevue, WA No. of Positions: 1 Length of Contract: 6 months (to start) W2 Rate (all inclusive): $42.18 – $48.51/hr Only Candidates who are authorized to work in the US will be considered for this position. Key Requirements Define Migration Strategy Requirements and Design of a large Charging & Billing Data Migration Project to support a Tier 1 Telco Transformation Should be capable of architecting designs based on sound principles that support optimized data modeling as per program needs and timelines Assess, Design, and Deliver an approach and design that supports data migration builds, pilots, parallel runs and phased cut-over Contribute to and support Design for Enterprise Data Modeling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modeling) Responsible for design and driving the enforcement of Migration Scripting of Error Handling and Logging Processes for Migration Scripts builds Accountable for ensuring the direction set by IT Management/Program Office, as well as ensuring best practices are followed across the scripting development lifecycle Provide input to project planning, resourcing, and budgeting activities Qualifications Thorough understanding of migration methodology and experience in executing migration as part of BSS transformations (at least 4 big successful migration program executed as PM). Knowledge of BSS Processes. Knowledge of BSS components (functional level) Knowledge of Migration (functional) Data Migration and Billing transformation strategy and approach Team working experience Strong managing and planning skills Experience as delivery manager in a data migration project Solution Architect of Data Migration project Good problem solving skill High capacity to anticipate critical situations High technical skills Knowledge of CRM and Billing processes At least 8 years of service oriented software development / integration design experience along with large scale migration of data. At least 3+ years functioning as a Data Architect Deep understanding of high available, high performance, distributed architectures Expertise in Data Modeling (Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Data Vault Modeling, etc.) Practical Experience in at least 5 or more of the following: Charging and BSCS (at least one is Mandatory) Experience in implementation of Amdocs CES 8 (a plus, but not mandatory) Master Data Management Customer Data Migration Design and Scripting Data Modeling Extract Transform & Load Data Governance SQL, PL/SQL XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD SQL, Stored Procedures, Database Triggers UML & OOAD Database design & management (Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server)
