Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Panama City, FL Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: $23 to $31 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 1 Years Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position About the Role The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) performs technical laboratory procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. This includes conducting lab tests, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality control, and reporting results in accordance with clinical protocols. The role is suitable for candidates with a strong laboratory foundation , including new graduates who have completed clinical rotations or have experience as a lab assistant or specimen processor . Key Responsibilities Perform lab testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology . Accurately analyze and report test results , alerting staff to critical or abnormal values. Ensure quality control procedures are followed during specimen collection and testing. Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records . Operate, calibrate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment. Monitor and maintain lab supplies and equipment sterility . Assist with specimen processing and ensure proper handling procedures.
