This position leads work and acts as an advisor to top state officials regarding federal funding.Job duties for this position include:Developing and implementing interagency and multi-government strategies and plans to coordinate federal funding effortsIdentifying and recommending ways to improve the coordination, implementation, and impact of federal funds on state programsAdvising on interagency federal funding strategies and plans to key stakeholders, including the commissioner, state budget director, the Governor’s Office, and other state agency staffDeveloping work plans and organizing projects; establishing goals and timelines; and evaluating results of federal funding strategiesGuiding the work of other state agency staffTelework options for this position are dependent on where the employee lives. With approval, employees that live within 50 miles from the primary work location may telework up to 50%.
