This includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving equipment issues, working independently, and being a key part of a high-performing maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities\nEquipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting\nMaintain, diagnose, and repair plant equipment, including:\nMechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems\nSafety devices and related machinery\n\n\nTroubleshoot equipment failures independently and recommend corrective actions.\nReduce equipment downtime by quickly identifying issues and implementing repairs.\nUse PLC information (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Direct Logic) to troubleshoot equipment.\nPerform industrial electrical wiring (low voltage up to 480V, 3-phase).\n\nPreventive Maintenance & Improvements\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance and properly document all activities.\nCalibrate and adjust equipment to ensure consistent quality.\nIdentify improvements that reduce costs, improve productivity, or enhance equipment performance.\nSupport continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.\n\nDocumentation & Compliance\nUse company software to track PMs and maintain accurate maintenance records.\nFollow all safety rules, policies, regulations, and company standards.\nMaintain clean and organized work areas, equipment, and tools.\n\nTeamwork & Communication\nCommunicate openly with supervisors on matters that impact production and equipment.\nWork cooperatively with management, co-workers, internal customers, and vendors.\nAssist with other duties as assigned by management.\n\n\nThis is a 2nd shift position Monday to Friday.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTechnical Skills\nAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical manuals, and instructions.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and logical troubleshooting approach.\nAble to operate facility equipment (compressors, boilers, fire systems, etc.).\nKnowledge of basic math needed for maintenance tasks.\nProficient using computers, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and documentation systems.\n\nWork Behaviors & Capabilities\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.\nAble to prioritize work based on production needs.\nGood judgment and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to work safely, follow policies, and adhere to PPE requirements.\nReliable attendance; may require irregular shifts or on-call coverage.\nProactive in improving skills, job knowledge, and work practices.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and relevant work experience.\nJourneyman electrician license is a plus, but not required.\n\nPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the Essential Functions of this job.
