Interim Designer - Kids (Hybrid, WA)

Job Description NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position. PLEASE NOTE: This is a TEMPORARY assignment at Nordstrom. This assignment is expected to last through the end of January, 2025, subject to change depending on the needs of the business. Your employment with Nordstrom will end upon the conclusion of this Temporary Assignment. As a Temporary Designer, you will support the design process for our Kids category. Primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Designing a collection for baby and little kids Completing Illustrator sketches Updating the Flex PLM system, including BOM’s Attending fittings and team collaboration meetings Coloring collections per season in Illustrator Creating PowerPoint Presentation decks TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB, INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR PORTFOLIO OR A PDF FILE SHOWCASING YOUR WORK AS A DESIGNER. You own this if you have… Bachelors degree in Design preferred Strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills in the assigned category Minimum 5 years experience in design industry Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills Proficiency in Adobe CS (required), MS Office suite and ability to hand-sketch. Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 annually This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
