OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Office Manager for an established engineering firm in Columbia, SC. This is a full-time, permanent onsite position. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations across finance, HR, administration, and facilities.ResponsibilitiesOversee firm finances, banking, and financial complianceManage accounting: AP/AR, cash flow, reconciliations, and statementsHandle vendor negotiations and financial certificationsEnsure compliance with employment lawsSupport hiring, onboarding, payroll, and benefitsManage insurance (liability, health, workers' comp, etc.)Review contracts and support administrative workflowsDevelop and implement policies to enhance efficiencyOversee office equipment, IT systems, and service providersManage building maintenance and vendor coordination for cleaning, landscaping, etc.Qualifications5+ years of experience; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficiency in Deltek Vision, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat strongly preferredPrevious experience in engineering industry a plusExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skillsHoursMonday to Friday (standard business hours)OnsitePermanent/Direct HireJ-18808-Ljbffr
