Role Description This is a contract role for a Mental Health Therapist, with a hybrid schedule based in Norwood, OH, allowing flexibility for some remote work. The Mental Health Therapist will provide individualized mental health services, including conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families. Additional responsibilities include case management, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. This role requires maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality, as well as meeting compliance requirements. Qualifications Experience in Treatment Planning, including setting goals and designing personalized therapeutic interventionsSocial Work and Case Management skills to coordinate care and resources effectivelyExpertise in Mental Health and Family Therapy to address a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challengesStrong ability to communicate empathy, build rapport, and establish trust with diverse populationsMaster’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a mental health professional (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent)Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plusCommitment to cultural competence and trauma-informed care
