Purchasing Procurement - Sourcing Specialist

Transglobal Door in Upper Sandusky, Ohio is currently looking for a Purchasing Procurement - Sourcing Specialist. General Summary The Purchasing Procurement-Sourcing Specialist is integral to supporting our business growth and innovation focus. The individual should have a strong background as a Purchasing Buyer and Sourcing Specialist in the Manufacturing industry. The Purchasing Procurement-Sourcing Specialist’s responsibilities will include ensuring that the company's materials and products meet all specifications, identifying replenishment requirements and order fulfillment completion, inventory control/parts management, meeting with vendors to negotiate the best contracts, being the liaison between the delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time. Requirements: Understanding manufacturing processes Strong computer and Microsoft Excel skills Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred) Proven experience as a Purchasing agent or relevant role Demonstrated experience in negotiating prices, terms and conditions Understand quality requirements A strong analytical mindset Excellent organizational and communication skills required Must Have: Microsoft Office skills Proficient in Excel Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics GP Minimum 5 years of successful experience as a Purchasing Manager Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
