Washington, District of ColumbiaJob DescriptionPrimary ResponsibilitiesThe Strategic Coordinator will support senior SAPG leadership in substantive and client-facing tasks, ensuring leadership can meet clients’ needs efficiently and effectively. Illustrative duties will include:Preparing agendas for key internal and external meetings with clients and key partnersTaking notes during these meetings, and preparing readouts and lists of due-outsPreparing talking points and briefing materials as needed for SAPG leadershipMaintaining a tracker of all items requiring SAPG action, and keeping staff accountable for deadlinesContributing as needed to team and client-facing work productsProviding research assistance in support of team and client requestsProofreading and editing key SAPG documents for quality controlTaking initiative to help SAPG staff better support clients and partnersPassing messages and correspondence on behalf of SAPG leadership The coordinator will work closely with the Administrative Assistant to prioritize the smooth running of SAPG internal processes and support substantive needs as bandwidth permits.QualificationsSkills crucial to this position will include excellent writing ability, organization, attention to detail, an ability to quickly adapt to and accommodate client priorities, aptitude for active listening so as to accurately capture high-level discussions, creativity around improving internal practices and work products, a calm and collegial work style, and the ability to juggle numerous tasks with competing deadlines.A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three to five years of professional experience in government, industry, consulting, or the legal profession is preferred.Washington DC pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skillset and experience, is $105k - $120k.Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.If you require an accommodation in order to apply for a position, please contact us at PillsburyWorkday@pillsburylaw.com.
