Production Coordinator Support
Job Summary: Responsible for scheduling production for Ox Bodies parts dept. The Production Coordinator Support is the liaison between the Parts Dept and the manufacturing team, primarily the fabrication department.
Essential Duties:
Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment while setting direction and holding people accountable.
Review schedules for parts dept. orders to make decisions concerning the priority of work based on the requirements of Ox Bodies’ customers.
Backfills production coordinator and receptionist, when needed.
Ability to manage change and maintain credibility with all employees.
Create jobs on orders from schedule, production coordinator provides daily schedule.
Create jobs and send out orders/jobs for parts dept.
Create and print material pick list for ship out bodies.
Ability to learn and nest.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Educational: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Data entry and scheduling, manufacturing environment preferred. Proficient with all Microsoft Office software. Excel experience is a must. ProNest software experience, preferred. Syteline software experience, preferred.
Skills: Strong decision-making skills, Strong project management skills, Strong interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization, Clear communication and follow through while holding others accountable, Effective time management system that ensures commitments are honored. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Other: Must be able to sit for over 8 hours. Must have strong customer focus and make the best decisions for the company as well as the customers. Demonstrated success in a previous assignment with similar responsibilities.
