MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a DDA Provider of Residential Services. MedSource respects and participates in a team process with the services offered to each individual, but acknowledges that the individual has the ultimate decision regarding their choice and destiny. We are seeking an organized and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team as a contractor. The ideal candidate will work with adults, with autism or developmental disabilities to provide behavioral therapy and support for our individuals in both Frederick and Prince George's Counties. Duties and tasks include conducting behavior assessments, writing behavior plans for adults with developmental disabilities utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavior Supports, and providing training and consultation to program staff. Must be BCBA licensed (or willing to apply for a license) in the State of Maryland. The successful candidate will need to pass a background check and must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving history. This position will require in-person assessments but plan writing and data analysis can be done remotely and will work under minimal supervision. Responsibilities Will follow the ethical standards of the American Psychological Association and/or the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Develop individualized behavior plans based on assessments as required by DHMH and DDA and complete clinical case notes as required. Implement behavioral interventions and strategies and train administrative and Direct Support Professionals on the approved behavioral plan. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide consultation during behavioral crises to program staff. Utilize electronic data collection methods to track progress and outcomes. Qualifications Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred. Proficient in behavioral health principles and practices. Skilled in behavioral therapy techniques and interventions. Experience in data collection and analysis. Excellent communication skills for working with individuals, their families, and team members. Must be an organized self-starter who enjoys working independently, as well as in a team environment.
