Job Title: Molding Process TechnicianLocation: Libertyville, ILDuration: Long TermKey Responsibilities:Set up molds, injection molding machines, and support equipment for productionAdjust machine settings to ensure quality and production targetsStart up and shut down molding machines following proceduresTroubleshoot molding issues (flash, short shots, warping, etc.)Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on molds and machinesInspect molded parts and ensure quality standards are metMaintain process documentation and support corrective actionsImprove molding processes to reduce cycle time and scrapSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesFollow safety guidelines and comply with ISO-13485, FDA, and GMP regulationsRequired Skills:Injection molding process experienceMold setup and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of hydraulic and electric molding machinesUnderstanding of quality systems and manufacturing regulationsMandatory Requirement:Experience with RJG Molding (required)3+ years of experience in injection molding or mold setupExperience with hydraulic and electric injection molding machinesEducation:High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Plastics Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
