About the RoleWe’re seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing (DON) to serve as the clinical leader for our single-site Assisted Living and Memory Care units. Join a culture that values professional development and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary clinical authority for our single-site community with Assisted Living and Memory Care.Lead the RN Delegation Program, including resident eligibility, task delegation, competency checks, and regulatory compliance.Lead, develop, and supervise Medication Technicians and nursing staff.Oversee care assessments, care planning, admissions, annual reviews, and change-of-condition evaluations.Manage incident reporting, investigations, documentation, and trend analysis.Ensure survey readiness through audits, corrective actions, and documentation integrity.Set clear expectations for clinical excellence, documentation, and safe practices.Partner with the Assisted Living Manager to align clinical and operational performance.Lead clinical quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement efforts.Strengthen medication management systems, infection prevention practices, and safety protocols.Track and resolve clinical grievances with timely follow-through.Partner with pharmacy, hospice, home health, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.Participate in committees and policy development to support organizational goals.Collaborate with Life Enrichment leadership to reinforce Memory Care practices.Develop and deliver training related to delegation, medication systems, safety, emergency procedures, and clinical risk management.Assess team learning needs and implement targeted training and coaching.Provide education to residents and families on clinical systems and care processes.Participate in the manager-on-call rotation to support clinical decision-making.QualificationsActive RN license in good standing with the State of Washington.2+ years of recent experience working with a senior population.2+ years of recent RN Delegator experience.3+ years supervising 10+ direct reports in a healthcare environment.Current CPR certification and BLS training.Background working with dementia, aging-related needs, and complex family dynamics.SkillsProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, 24/7 care environment.Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment.Benefits and PerksHighly Competitive Benefits Package with Low Deductibles: Medical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid Time Off and Sick LeaveDiscounted Costco MembershipDiscounted Meals403(b) Retirement & Company MatchCompany Paid Training & Professional Development OpportunitiesORCA Card Discount or Discounted Employer Paid ParkingStaff Scholarship Program - up to $24,000 per year including dependentsFree Gym and Pool access for employeesStudent Loan Assistance Program - up to $1,200 per yearFun and Exciting Staff Events
