The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical operations function, both for internal teams and external partners, and will be instrumental in fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials, ensuring they are in line with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role also involves providing strategic input into trial design, and protocol development, and ensuring all studies comply with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.Applicants must have a BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical operations experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Experience in clinical development through Phase 3, including participation in a drug approval, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, managing external partners, and a deep knowledge of clinical trial design, execution, and global regulatory requirements. Strong executive presence, excellent communication, and cross-functional leadership skills are a must, as is a strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive innovative solutions.
