We manage large-scale operational projects that require organization, speed, accountability, and calm execution under pressure.Over the past three years, we’ve built the company with outsourced accounting support, strong operational systems, and disciplined project execution. Now, we’re hiring our first dedicated in-house accounting operations professional to help bring greater financial visibility, operational discipline, and scalable accounting infrastructure to the business.This is not a traditional transactional bookkeeping role.We’re looking for someone who wants to own the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing company, create structure in a fast-moving environment, and become a critical operational partner to leadership. This role works closely with company leadership and will have direct visibility into operational decision-making, financial workflows, and company growth initiatives.You’ll collaborate closely with our Project Management, Operations, and Leadership teams while serving as the internal bridge to our external CPA firm, which continues to oversee tax, compliance, year-end review, and higher-level accounting strategy.If you enjoy operational problem-solving, clean reconciliations, organized financial workflows, and building systems that help companies scale, this role was designed for you.About the RolePosition OverviewThe Turn Company is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and operationally driven Accounting Operations Specialist / Senior Bookkeeper to support the company’s day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-moving project-based business environment.This role is responsible for helping manage and coordinate core accounting and financial workflows across a variety of operational projects, including:Seasonal resident turnover operations,Contracted field and facility services,Capital improvement and installation projects, andOther large-scale operational initiatives executed across multiple markets nationwide. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial organization, operational visibility, billing coordination, reconciliations, vendor management, and accounting workflow discipline throughout the year, with a particularly important role during the company’s peak summer operational season.This role works closely with leadership, operations, project management, subcontractors, vendors, and the company’s external CPA partners to help ensure financial operations remain organized, accurate, timely, and scalable as the business grows.The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing accounting responsibilities with operational coordination, communication, problem-solving, and process improvement within a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.This is not a traditional back-office accounting role.
