Simulation Operations SpecialistMilwaukee WI Heil Conference CenterAbout the RoleThe Simulation Operations Specialist supports the development and implementation of simulation‐based education across the Advocate Aurora Health system. This role partners closely with faculty, simulation education specialists, and clinical teams to provide technical expertise and ensure high‐quality simulation experiences.As a key member of the System Simulation team, you will help plan, launch, and operate simulation programs—both in situ and within simulation centers—to advance organizational learning and support strategic outcomes.Major ResponsibilitiesSimulation Program SupportPlan, schedule, and coordinate simulation‐based programs alongside simulation facilitators.Execute all technical aspects of simulation events, including equipment setup, tear‐down, programming, and basic maintenance.Support the launch and operations of simulation centers and in situ simulations across the enterprise.Technical Operations & MaintenanceMaintain all simulation training equipment, including troubleshooting, coordinating repairs, and supporting software/hardware upgrades.Monitor inventory and replenish supplies as needed.Stay current and proficient in evolving simulation technologies.Training & CollaborationProvide training and serve as a resource for simulation confederates and users of simulation technologies.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‐quality simulation experiences.Contribute to Advocate Aurora Academy initiatives by informing system‐wide learning strategies and ensuring simulation is represented.Data & Administrative SupportCollect, track, and organize accurate data supporting simulation activities and outcomes.Assist with scheduling, planning logistics, and operational coordination related to simulation events.Required LicensureBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)EducationAssociate's degree in Organizational Development or Simulation or a related field required.ExperienceTypically requires 2 years of experience in healthcare simulation operations, clinical practice, or related technology‐based roles.preference to simulation experience in healthcare, simulation certification CHSOSKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTime management, autonomy, medical / technology backgroundStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Highly detail‐oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skillsFlexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesDemonstrated problem‐solving abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and manage challenging situationsEffective collaborator within a diverse team environmentAbility to travel to various Advocate Aurora Health facilitiesPhysical Requirements & Working ConditionsAbility to move equipment and learning materials (up to 50 lbs)Exposure to a typical office environmentRegular travel required with potential exposure to road and weather conditionsOperates all necessary job‐related equipmentBrand: Aurora Health CareJob ID: R219497Employment Type: Full_timeJob Area: Human ResourcesFunction: Human Resources GeneralIndustry: Ambulatory/Clinical Care Services
