Role: Clinical SupervisorReports to: Director of Mental Health, KensingtonProgram: 1300-Integrated CareDepartment: Integrated CareLocation: Kensington Campus - 45244 32nd St West, Lancaster, CA 93536Setting: 100% OnsiteSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pmStatus: Full-time/Exempt/Non-ManagementBenefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 403(b) Retirement plan, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), etc.Openings: 1Job Description Summary:The Clinical Supervisor provides training, mentoring and clinical supervision to the HSSP and Interim Housing clinicians to ensure the provision of high-quality, integrated clinical services at The People Concern.Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide individual and group clinical supervision to unlicensed, clinical staff in adherence with BBS and Medi-Cal requirementsProvide supervision, training and review of clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and any other clinical documentation as it arises in the client record in adherence with Medi-Cal and DMH requirementsAssist supervisees in ensuring productivity goals and outcomes are achieved including a minimum of 65% of staff time being in direct service provision across programsOversee effective referral and coordination of services with social services providers to ensure clinically-appropriate services are provided to clients whom are working with superviseesOversee the screening and intake process and maintain appropriate databaseHelp develop, streamline, and update the intake process to provide timely and effective services to members.Monitor program enrollment and ensure delivery of services to all HSSP participantsProvide leadership in clinical crises, including but not limited to crisis assessment at Project-Based housing sites.Participate in The People Concern's clinical quality assurance program and ensure the implementation of quality improvement activities within the program to ensure ongoing quality outcomesAttend meetings and conferences upon request and prepare a verbal and/or written summary to supervisorAssist Program Director in distributing caseloads for appropriate and effective matching between members, clinicians, and advocatesAssist Program Director in developing and delivering the day to day and overall training needs of the staffAssist Program Director in completing required reporting to LA County Department of Mental Health as outlined by contract requirementsAssist Program Director in ensuring all member paperwork and data collection is complete, timely, accurate, and current in agency records and electronic databasesProvide input, evaluation, and updates regarding programs as requestedJob Description Qualifications:Active, current license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC registered with the CA BBSMinimum two years' experience working with those living with mental illness and/or substance addictions, and homelessness post-licensureStrong working knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and requirementsOutstanding clinical and strong team-building skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applicationsDetail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skillsAble to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and with minimal supervisionAble to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificationJob Description Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 35 WPM typing speed preferredBilingual Spanish preferredCrisis Assessment/ManagementDMH experienceJob Description Work Environment:On occasion walk or drive to different local sitesRegularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 poundsField (may need to travel) and indoor office environmentWill necessitate working in busy and loud environmentsWill be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odorMay need to bend, stoop, twist , and sit throughout the day
