About the Role
As a Precision CNC Technician, you will play a vital role in our production cycle by transforming raw materials into high-precision turbomachinery components. You will leverage your expertise in CNC programming and multi-axis machining to ensure every part meets rigorous engineering specifications and quality benchmarks.
Responsibilities
Execute complex machining tasks including milling, turning, drilling, and threading to produce high-quality components.
Program and optimize CNC equipment using G-code and M-code to maximize production efficiency.
Conduct thorough machine setups and changeovers to maintain continuous workflow for various production runs.
Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers and dial indicators to ensure parts adhere to tight tolerances.
Perform routine equipment troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational safety.
Interpret intricate blueprints and technical drawings to guide the fabrication process from start to finish.
Collaborate with the engineering team to refine machining processes and improve overall part output quality.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Proven experience in programming and operating multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and M-code.
Demonstrated ability to maintain tight tolerances and produce high-quality, saleable parts.
Expertise in the use and calibration of precision measuring instruments.
Solid understanding of manual machining practices and CNC tooling.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CAM software, specifically Mastercam.
Technical familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, or Doosan control systems.
Prior experience with 5-axis machining or Swiss lathe operations.
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.
