Automotive Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Execute vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake replacements, wheel alignments, and tire rotations to uphold safety standards. Perform wheel alignments for optimal vehicle handling. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations for vehicle care, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Skills Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and gasoline engines. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and software for accurate troubleshooting. Experience working with multiple brands of vehicles. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals confidently for precise repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Knowledge of alignment techniques is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach. ASE certification is a plus.
