Application Support Engineer

Our client, a leading global private investment firm managing approximately $160 billion in AUM, is currently looking for a Workday Integrations Engineer to support Workday Financial.This is direct-hire permanent opportunity. This will be hybrid in their Boston (Back Bay) office.**Must be local to greater Boston area.**This position will primarily focus on Workday Financial, while also supporting a range of other SaaS platforms and additional applications as needed. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, software development teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage production incidents, and implement operational improvements across supported platforms.Responsibilities:Monitor and support production systems, integrations, and data pipelinesTroubleshoot application, data, and integration issues across enterprise platformsManage and resolve incidents using ITIL based practices, lead root cause analysis when neededSupport user access, provisioning, and platform administrationPartner with development teams, business analysts and vendors to resolve issues and implement improvementsAssist with releases, system upgrades, and environment maintenanceRespond to business data inquiries and operational support requestsMaintain documentation and standard operating procedures for recurring issuesQualifications:Required:5+ years of experience in application or production support within enterprise environmentsHands-on experience with supporting Workday Financials Proficiency in Workday integrations, including EIB, custom reports, and scheduled processesDemonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve Workday integration errors and warningsExperience managing incidents end-to-end and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, assess urgency, and escalate appropriatelyProactive problem-solver with a focus on reducing recurring issues and improving user experiencePreferred:Salesforce experience, including administration or data managementFamiliarity with integration tools and job schedulersKnowledge of ITIL practicesExperience with Workday StudioExperience managing Workday custom validations (e.g., Supplier Invoices, Time Tracking, etc.)Exposure to AWSWorking knowledge of SQLWD certifications are a plus!
