Datacenter Technician

Job Title: Data Center Technician Location: Plano, TX, 75024 Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension depending on business needsDuties:Performs server/network device deployments.Supports installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Data Center equipment.Performs server diagnostics and repairs (e.g., replace hard drives, replace failed sticks of RAM, etc.).Physically assists in moving, racking, and cabling equipment as directed to support projects.Assist with logistics as needed (e.g., receiving hardware shipments, spares counts, replenishments)Skills: HS diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience DIRECTLY in a data centerFamiliar with Data Center environmentCopper/Fiber cabling managementServer installation - troubleshooting - parts swappingManager Notes:Candidate racks and stacks the servers in the data centerNeat, structured power cabling skill extremely importantHelping logistics team periodically - moving pallets, staging systems, etc
