Senior Electronics Analyst

Position SummaryThis role serves as a high-level technical resource supporting manufacturing operations through advanced troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of electronic, control, and instrumentation systems. The Electronics Analyst works closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime, ensure safe operation, and improve equipment reliability.The Senior Electronics Analyst role reflects the same responsibilities, with greater depth of experience, broader technical mastery, and the ability to independently lead complex diagnostics and improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electronic and control system issues beyond the scope of standard electrician workProgram, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems using PC-based and manufacturer-specific softwareSupport new equipment installations by identifying and correcting control logic or system integration issuesInstall, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial instrumentation and control devices, including sensors, transmitters, converters, and actuatorsTroubleshoot and maintain variable-speed AC/DC drives and associated feedback and control systemsMaintain and calibrate electronic scales, weighing, and ingredient systems, ensuring accurate documentation and complianceInstall and support precision measurement systems and related control equipmentPartner with engineering and vendors on equipment upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiativesProvide technical guidance and support to electricians and maintenance personnel as neededQualificationsDegree in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong knowledge of industrial electronics, PLCs, instrumentation, drives, and control systemsProficiency with diagnostic and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, recorders, and insulation testersSolid computer skills, including technical documentation and reportingAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environmentSchedule & Work EnvironmentMust be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift; training will occur on first shift with eventual assignment to second or third shiftOvertime is expected, with variability based on projects and urgent operational needsThis is a salaried, non-exempt role eligible for overtimeRelocation assistance may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on qualifications At Delectus, we pursue excellence in all we do.
