OverviewAustin, United States | Posted on 06/11/2025ResponsibilitiesInstall and route low voltage cables (e.g., CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, coaxial) in pre construction environments.Terminate and test cabling systems to ensure functionality and compliance with TIA/EIA standards.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other contractors to meet project timelines and specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and local safety regulations.Provide own tools and equipment necessary for low voltage cabling tasks.QualificationsProven experience in low voltage cabling installation (1–3 years preferred).Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Own tools and equipment required for low voltage cabling (e.g., punch-down tools, cable testers, etc.).Certification (e.g., BICSI Installer, CompTIA Network+) is a plus but not required.RequirementsMust live in Austin, or San Antonio, Texas.Must be eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor.J-18808-Ljbffr
