Scientific Research CompanyREMOTE- Northeast preferredNeeded ASAP6 month contract +No C2CMust work on W2Global Events Sales Representative with eShow (event management system) and Chemistry DegreeGlobal Event Sales Representative with eShow and Chemistry- Client Media GroupIdentify, research and sell Client Expo sponsorships into specialized companies that relate to key Client Expo initiatives, including Pharma Community programming and C&EN Future of Chemistry panel series.Work with Client divisions (Office of Sustainability & Research, C&EN Future of Chemistry etc) to establish bespoke sponsorship packages that serve a specific segment of the chemistry community.Establish pricing for specialty sponsorship campaigns. Collaborate with internal partners, Client Pubs, and Society to coordinate sponsorships that serve their needs.Actively solicit business by attending regional and specialty conferences.Meet monthly and annual revenue quota.Must have ability to work multiple events with multiple conference themes & pricing strategiesApproaches sales from a consultative standpoint to ensure that exhibitors/sponsors needs are actualized.Accepts orders, negotiates, closes sales, maintains customer records and completes required documentation (contracts) required for each individual event sale.Prepare weekly/monthly revenue tracking report to communicate outreach and closed business to Sales, Marketing and Fulfillment teams.Communicates needs of the business to manager and marketing to ensure quality of leads are satisfactory. Other duties include:Respond to "top of funnel” leads and vet incoming inquires for Spring/Fall Client Expo.Actively cold call new business prospects that meet weekly outreach/connect quota.Update CRM to ensure all company data, notes etc are captured.Work in collaboration with Fulfillment team(s) to ensure all deliverables are met.Work with Revenue marketing team on specialty campaigns for both Client Expo and Client Media Group initiatives, to increase revenue.Work with manager to find solutions, innovate, and pivot to the market trends impacting both our event and advertising clients. Skills required: Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and A2Z, eShow (or similar event management system) products.Proven track record of 5+ years of closing global business development opportunities, specifically in the event sales sector.Proven agility in working across multiple teams/business units.Track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals.Comfortable speaking to scientific experts with basic knowledge of the chemistry industry and terminology.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to quickly establish relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, gain trust, and manage expectations.Understanding of the mission and values of the department and organization.Other requirements Bachelor's degreeAdvanced degree in Chemistry strongly desired.Willingness to travel up to 30% annually, including both Client Expos. Location: Prefer DC office will consider Northeast remote.
