Overhaul & Repair (O/R) Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerOur client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support Overhaul & Repair (O/R) operations for a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across operations, while serving as a key liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure product quality and compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9100, NADCAP, and ISO standardsAct as the primary quality contact for customers and suppliersConduct internal audits and support regulatory compliance initiativesMaintain and manage quality records, manuals, and regulatory documentationReview and approve purchase orders and contracts from a quality standpointLead and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformancesPerform supplier evaluations and auditsSupport inspection activities and assist with teardown reports and quality documentationCollaborate cross-functionally to drive process improvements and quality initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), measurement systems and inspection techniques, manufacturing processes and methods, Statistical Process Control (SPC)Experience with AS9100, ISO, and NADCAP quality systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with FAA/EASA regulations and Airworthiness DirectivesExperience in aerospace or overhaul & repair environmentsBackground in supplier quality and audit processesPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularlyOccasional lifting up to 20 lbsAbility to work in both office and shop environmentsPre-Employment RequirementsBackground checkDrug & alcohol screening
