We are on a mission to provide marginalized individuals and families with excellent clinical care and close the gap within marginalized communities.Summary:The Clinical Trainee Therapist position will support anti-oppressive/anti-racist practice, and trauma-responsive practice in all aspects of their interactions with staff, community, and company stakeholders through their administrative and operations support of program staff working on site and in community to address socioeconomic and health disparity. Comfort and proven experience and interest in working with staff with a range of identities including age, developmental and acquired disabilities, religion, spirituality, ethnicity, race, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, relationship structure, indigenousEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide in-home services and use telehealth as neededProvide a minimum of 15-20 billable hours per week for part-timeCarry caseload of 10-12 ongoing clients, in case of cancellations2-4 DAs per weekOpen to facilitating community based groupDiagnostic assessments and de-westernized therapyDevelop treatment plansConduct diagnostic assessmentsProvide ongoing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and families at our office, in-home and/or virtuallyAbility to provide culturally sensitive services that are advocacy-oriented and client-centeredEncourage client retention and regular communication, coordinate services with other health care providers to ensure that client receives adequate servicesProvide adequate documentation of services, i.e., complete progress notesParticipate in department clinical supervision and other meetings, including a monthly group training session, perform other duties as assigned.Ensure compliance with DHS and insurance regulationsOther related duties may be assignedQualifications Education/Experience:Masters, LGSW, LICSW, MA (LPCC), MA (LMFT), or LPEnvironment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
