HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator

Chief Heating & Cooling is a family-owned mechanical contractor based in Lee's Summit, MO working on projects throughout the Kansas City metro area. We work on varied projects ranging from small tenant finish to new construction on multi-story buildings in the office, retail, and restaurant commercial industries. We are looking for a Sheet Metal Shop Fabricator to join our team! You will be fabricating ductwork and fittings for commercial heating and cooling systems. Responsibilities: Fabricate duct and fittings Keep track of inventory for fabrication materials and accessories kept in stock Coordinate material deliveries to job sites Qualifications: 4 or more years experience in HVAC ductwork fabrication Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to handle physical workload Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to operate and maintain a plasma table Ability to operate and maintain a coil line Ability to operate and maintain a pinning machine Ability to operate and maintain sheet metal breaks Ability to operate a fork lift Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
