Manufacturing / Internal Logistics Engineer (Junior-Mid Level)Location: Blue Springs, MS (Local candidates preferred)Travel: 50%+ (domestic & limited international)Interview Process: Virtual interview → Onsite interviewAbout the RoleThe Manufacturing Business Operations - Internal Logistics Engineering team is seeking a motivated Engineer to support internal logistics projects across multiple North American manufacturing sites. This role is ideal for recent graduates or junior-level engineers who are eager to gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing, logistics engineering, and process improvement initiatives.Reporting to the Internal Logistics Manager, this position plays a key role in optimizing internal material flow by balancing the needs of External Logistics, Production Engineering Planning, and Manufacturing Operations to develop efficient, scalable internal delivery processes.What You'll Be DoingLead and support cross-functional internal logistics projects across manufacturing facilitiesPartner with engineering, production, and logistics teams to troubleshoot and improve parts flowAnalyze current-state processes and challenge existing systems to develop optimal future-state logistics solutionsDevelop and execute strategies to communicate supply chain KPIs, including internal delivery, routing, and returns handlingCollaborate with plant teams and pilot engineers to confirm process requirements, equipment needs, and system complianceSupport and lead installation of internal logistics equipment, including both manual and automated delivery systemsSupport training and testing activities related to internal logistics systemsOperate effectively within compressed timelines to support manufacturing schedulesWho We're Looking ForCandidates local to Mississippi or surrounding areas to minimize travel requirementsOpen to recent graduates and junior-level professionalsStrong interest in manufacturing, logistics engineering, and process optimizationComfortable working in hands-on, plant-facing environmentsQualifications (Must Have)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experienceExperience with Microsoft Excel, Project, and/or PlannerAutoCAD layout design experienceDemonstrated project planning experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to travel 50%+, including multi-week site support as neededBased out of Blue Springs, MS, while supporting additional manufacturing sitesPreferred / Nice to HaveProject Management experienceExperience supporting automation or innovation project installationsPrior experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or other CAD toolsExperience with FlexSim or simulation softwareMaterial and Information Flow Chart trainingLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
