Job Title: RF Engineer - IV (IN-Building) Location: Any Nearest Client's Office Duration: 12+ Months The role in National In-Building Strategy & PMO team is responsible for driving operational efficiencies, managing complex technical deployments across national in-building and venue DAS systems, and coordinating strategic infrastructure lifecycle management initiatives. This role requires a blend of advanced in-building RF expertise, rigorous project management, and strong stakeholder coordination with internal teams and external vendors. Key ResponsibilitiesRF Design Reviews:Review and approve project initiation requests submitted by regional teams.Review, provide objective feedback, and approve in-building and venue DAS designs to ensure alignment with centralized strategy and established design standards.Engage with external vendors to review designs.Stay current with all equipment from the network and approved DAS OEMs used in DAS systems by attending technical sessions with Ericsson, Samsung, and approved DAS OEMs.Support the strategy team in developing standardized design guidelines and strategy documentation.Present engineering analysis and recommendations in a group setting.Improve Operational Efficiency:Analyze network KPIs in tools like VPT, xLPT, etc. to drive capital and operational efficiency improvements by recommending the right design strategy to regional teams.Perform WiFi offload in venues and enterprise buildings by reviewing performance KPIs and collaborating with internal regional teams and WiFi vendors.Support the budget submission process.Leverage generative AI and automation tools to streamline workflows and improve team productivity.Strategic Program Management & Coordination:Lead the execution of complex, multi-site projects, including the commercialization of new solutions and the completion of major rollouts. This includes cellular, WiFi, and MoCN projects.Manage external vendor relationships and coordinate with internal groups such as IBV PMO, VBG, and Real Estate to resolve project roadblocks.Develop and communicate technical and strategic presentations for senior management (e.g., budget slides, D-RAN strategy, and program review updates).Knowledge Sharing:Organize internal technical forums to facilitate knowledge retention and ensure consistent application of standards across regional markets. You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.7+ years of in-building RF design and optimization experience.3+ years of technical project management experience.iBwave Level 3 certification (recent certificate expiration may be considered).Proficiency in RF design for LTE and NR networks and familiarity with network OEM equipment (Ericsson/Samsung). Even better if you have:Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.Advanced skills in Atoll operation and prediction models.Experience analyzing network performance metrics and selecting antenna/radio solutions for capacity and/or coverage requirements.Strong data science skills with experience in automated reporting and data processing.Good understanding of engineering concepts, with an aptitude to learn and advance in a technical field.Hands-on experience with generative AI tools (e.g., NotebookLM, Claude). Working Model This role can be located out of any US-based client's Hub location. In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work-from-home flexibility and assigned office days set by your manager.
