Assistant General ManagerPay Range: $20.00 - $24.00PURALIMA CANTINA is seeking a talented Assistant General Manager to add to our team! You are the face of our brand and the glue that keeps our team whole.Position Overview: As an Assistant General Manager, you will work directly under our General Manager to run the day to day operations for the restaurant. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our BOH and FOH teams will want to emulate. AGMs need to be masters of the FOH and BOH while understanding how to impact and enhance our guest experience. This role will be responsible for managing and organizing our catering orders with a high attention to detail and accuracy while ensuring prep is properly allocated. At PURALIMA we are committed to growing our leaders from within and the Assistant General Manager role was created for those individuals that we believe have the potential to run their own PURALIMA someday.Assistant General Manager Duties and Responsibilities:In charge of day to day operations of the restaurantCreate and maintain a culture where teammates have the opportunity to learn and growRecruit, interview, and hire the right talent for PURALIMA, with a focus on finding and developing future leadersQuickly improve or remove low performers through coaching and documentationMotivate, inspire, and challenge team to consistently achieve and surpass company goals and standardsExecute, control and direct the preparation of all food which includes necessary process for food safety and quality controlManage and oversee the production and completion of catering ordersConnect and build relationships through the ability to resolve conflict in a prompt and professional mannerEnsure the restaurant is clean, organized, and well stockedEquipment is properly maintained and in good conditionMonitor COGS, food waste, inventory levels, and resolving any food quality or safety issueLive and represent the PURALIMA brand day in and outJob Requirements:Minimum 1-2 years previous management/supervisory experienceAdvanced knife skillsAble to lift 50lbsAble to stand for long periods of time and work in fast-pace environmentFull-time availability with a flexible scheduleManagement experience in the restaurant industry1-2 years of kitchen experienceStrong organizational skillsAttention to detailDrive to grow and advance career with PURALIMAPURALIMA Benefits:Competitive wagesOpportunity to grow and advance careerEmployee meals discountsThis organization participates in E-Verify.
