Warehouse and Material Handler The Warehouse and Material Handler is a hands-on role responsible for inventory management, receiving, saw cutting support, internal material movement, and local deliveries. This position supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring material is accurate, available, and delivered safely and on time. The role includes driving a company vehicle and occasionally pulling a trailer for local pickups and deliveries.Responsibilities:Inventory and Material Handling• Maintain and organize raw material, WIP, and finished goods• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories• Label, store, and track material accurately• Report shortages, damage, or discrepanciesReceiving and Shipping Support• Receive incoming material and verify quantities and paperwork• Move material to proper storage locations• Assist with packaging and preparing outbound shipmentsMaterial Movement and Shop Support• Transport material between departments using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts• Operate overhead crane to move and position material in accordance with safety procedures• Stage material for production and saw operations• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and material areasSaw Cutting Support• Assist with saw cutting operations including material staging and handling• Measure and verify cut lengths as required• Distinguish between colors used for material identification, markings, and saw indicators• Follow all safety and machine proceduresDriving and Delivery• Perform local pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle• Safely pull a trailer when required• Load, secure, and unload material for transport• Complete basic delivery paperwork and inspectionsGeneral• Assist with shop housekeeping and safety tasks• Support other departments as workload requiresQualifications:• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling preferred• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work• Ability to accurately identify and distinguish color coded materials, tags, wiring, safety indicators, and markings used in the manufacturing and warehouse environment.• Basic math and measurement skills• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to be trained• Overhead crane experience preferred or willingness to be trained• Valid driver's license with clean driving record• Comfortable driving and pulling a trailer• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail oriented
