Sr. DevOps Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on cloud architecture, DevOps automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, production support, and security best practices.You'll work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to build modern cloud-native solutions and drive end-to-end deployment excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesAWS Cloud & ArchitectureDesign, implement, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS cloud architectures.Build and manage multi-tier AWS environments using services such as ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront, SQS, ElastiCache, and QuickSight.Conduct architecture reviews and guide application teams on AWS cloud adoption and operational best practices.DevOps, CI/CD & Infrastructure as CodeBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (HCL).Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and release workflows following enterprise standards.Support modernization and enhancement of deployment pipelines across DevOps platforms.Security & Release ManagementIntegrate security throughout the SDLC using SAST, DAST, SCA, SonarQube, penetration testing tools, and related security controls.Ensure cybersecurity policies and compliance are embedded into CI/CD pipelines.Coordinate production deployments through CI/CD pipelines and ServiceNow release processes.Production Support & Incident ManagementLead production incident triage, communication, and resolution.Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.Ensure SLA adherence, escalation management, and post-incident reviews.Technical LeadershipOwn the DevOps and deployment architecture for the platform.Drive engineering best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, release management, and operational support.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable cloud solutions.Required Skills8–10 years of experience in AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineering.Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.Experience building automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines.Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD.Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Go, or similar).Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFront, SQS, ElastiCache, and QuickSight.Experience with security tools including SAST, DAST, SCA, SonarQube, and penetration testing practices.Strong experience in production support, incident management, and RCA.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
