You will be backed by RN oversight, clear care plans, and a team that leads with professionalism, calm communication, and genuine respect for clients and caregivers alike.What You'll DoFollow the individualized care plan developed by the EverHaven RN for each client every visit, every taskAssist clients with personal care and ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting per the care planSupport safe transfers, bed mobility, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and approved assistive devicesProvide medication reminders per EverHaven policy (no administration, no dose prep)Observe and report changes in condition to the RN SupervisorComplete daily visit notes and EVV documentation accurately and on timeFollow infection control, OSHA bloodborne pathogen, and safety policiesSupport orientation of new staff when assigned, under RN oversightScheduleShifts vary based on client need and may include days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Candidates must be flexible hours grow with client demand as EverHaven expands. Details provided at offer.RequirementsRequirementsActive Maine CNA certificate in good standing on the Maine CNA RegistryHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance (required — travel between client homes is part of this role)Current CPR/BLS per EverHaven policyTB screening or risk assessment per EverHaven policyImmunizations per EverHaven policyAbility to pass Maine Background Check Center (MBCC) screeningMBCC clearance is required but does not automatically guarantee employment. EverHaven applies an individualized suitability review consistent with agency standards and the safety needs of the population we serve.Preferred1+ year CNA experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, or hospitalExperience with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or complex chronic conditionsPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and repositioning. Ability to perform client transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment. Manual lifting generally limited to 35 lbs; heavier transfers require assistive devices or team assist.
