Solar Inspection Technician
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping and sitting the final inspection after a solar install. It may include minor repair of solar energy systems. This role does not require a strong understanding of electrical systems or safety protocols, but prior experience is welcomed and appreciated.
Position is hourly plus mileage and requires you to use your own vehicle to drive to the inspections. These inspections will be in the so cal area. All packets for inspections will be sent directly to you or can be collected from the Riverside warehouse, depending on your location.
This position will also involve minor service work in the socal area and Site surveys should they arise. This is a review of a potential client including measurements and photos of exterior and interior of home.
Duties
Set up solar systems for final inspections with the city or county the home resides in.
Minor trouble shooting
Read and interpret solar designs
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as voltmeters for electrical testing.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion within deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
