Specialized Reading Instructor, ESY ProgramPOSITION OVERVIEWSeeking Wilson Reading Instructor, Orton Gillingham Instructor, and/or LiPS instructor to provide specialized reading services to students in grades k-12 who require an Extended School Year (ESY), per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Advanced planning of curriculumCommunicating with parentsCoordinating services with related service providers and learning center teachersWriting progress reports at conclusion of programQUALIFICATIONS* Wilson, and/or Orton Gillingham, and/or LiPS certification required* Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employmentSCHEDULE:July 6, 2026 - August 13, 20269:00 - 2:00, Monday - Thursday (Hours and schedule are dependent on caseload)Additional one to days of training prior to start of programAdditional 30 minutes per day for planningPlease contact Mark_marfione@psbma.org with any questions.The Public Schools of Brookline is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their teaching or practice to the diversity and excellence of the PSB community.The Public Schools of Brookline is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
