We have a full-time need for a Welder where you will primarily operate construction equipment and machinery while also utilizing welding skills for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both construction operations and welding, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. What You'll DoOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and forklifts to perform construction tasksFollow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to execute tasks efficientlyConduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure functionality and safetyPerform welding tasks including cutting, welding, and fabricating metal components as neededInterpret and apply welding codes and standards to meet project requirements.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times.Collaborate with construction teams to complete projects on schedule and within budgetMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenanceAssist in other construction-related tasks as directed by supervisors What You'll NeedWelder with Chauffeurs license near Sulphur, LAExperience operator and experience in the Natural Gas FieldProven experience as a Construction Operator and Welder in the construction industryProficiency in operating heavy equipment and machineryCertification in welding (e.g., AWS certification) preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsValid driver's license and clean driving record GridSource is a proud supporter of our U.S. military, veterans, and their families.
