About the Opportunity:The Principal Software Engineer role is a senior technical and strategic position responsible for leading platform engineering work and advising clients on architecture, scalability, and platform evolution. This role drives innovation, shapes long-term technical vision, and influences client technical leadership to ensure delivery of impactful, production-grade software solutions. The position requires managing complex technical roadmaps and mentoring client teams to improve practices and outcomes.3. Responsibilities:• Build trust with clients by demonstrating technical expertise and understanding their objectives• Lead platform engineering and strategy, aligning long-term vision with deliverables• Balance technology choices to deliver high-quality work within deadlines• Advise clients on architecture, scalability, and platform evolution tied to business outcomes• Collaborate on systems involving full ML lifecycle processes• Surface new technical approaches and product solutions proactively• Lead feedback sessions with teams and clients• Document outcomes and drive follow-up actions• Support team and organizational culture by modeling core values• Design and manage technical roadmaps for large projects• Build and maintain client and industry relationships• Coach client engineering teams to elevate practices• Influence client CTOs and executives on technical decisions• Partner with account teams on planning and opportunity identification• Facilitate retrospectives, strategy sessions, and technical deep-dives• Identify and resolve blockers to team progress• Mentor internally and externally, lead workshops, represent the organization, and support hiring• Demonstrate leadership in scalable system design and modular architecture• Apply in-depth testing, observability, fault tolerance, and secure engineering practices• Use architectural patterns to evaluate tradeoffs and document design rationale4. Requirements:• Over 10 years of experience with proven success across diverse projects• Expertise in building and shipping production-grade platforms and agentic systems• Strong consulting acumen with experience across multiple languages and ecosystems• Experience with AI/ML integration including recommendation engines, NLP, computer vision, and agents• Proven leadership in modernization and replatforming efforts• Ability to handle architecture-level challenges such as scalability, security, and maintainability• Skilled in facilitating alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders• Track record of mentorship and knowledge sharing at scale• Experience with a variety of programming languages and frameworks including Java, C#/.NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Go, Ruby, Scala, R, and SQL• Active engagement with emerging AI development tools and industry trends5.
