Senior Accountant

Capital Logistics Group is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of both CLG Transportation and Capital Logistics Group. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, process improvement, and operational analytics across multiple systems and platforms.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to drive operational and financial success.What You’ll DoPerform monthly close processes and prepare timely financial statementsMaintain the general ledger and process complex journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsSupport AP/AR operations, collections, invoicing, and cash flow monitoringOversee payroll processing, commission reporting, and vendor/customer account resolutionAnalyze operational and financial data to identify trends and process improvement opportunitiesManage ERP uploads, data migration, and reporting across financial systemsMaintain compliance with GAAP standards and federal, state, and local regulationsAssist with year-end tax preparation, 1099 processing, and audit supportWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processesAdvanced Excel and analytical/problem-solving skillsExperience with accounting software and ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)Ability to work independently while collaborating across departmentsExperience in transportation or logistics industry is a plusWhy Capital Logistics GroupAt Capital Logistics Group, we believe strong execution and great people drive lasting success.
