Our facility is located at 2114 McDaniel Dr., Carrollton, TX 75006.Job Description/ResponsibilitiesBuzzBallz is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Lead to support daily laboratory and quality operations in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. This role leads testing activities, ensures compliance with TTB and internal standards, and partners closely with production teams to maintain product integrity. You’ll play a key role in driving consistent quality, supporting problem-solving efforts, and reinforcing a strong culture of quality and food safety. What You’ll Do Lead daily laboratory operations, including proofing and quality testing of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goodsEnsure compliance with company specifications and regulatory requirements, including TTB standardsPartner with Production and Processing teams to troubleshoot quality issues and support batching activitiesPerform and oversee quality checks on bottling lines to ensure product consistencyDocument quality data, track deviations, and support audits and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications/Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, laboratory testing, or related fieldStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentationProficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to communicate effectively across all levelsPreferredAssociate’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field (Bachelor’s degree a plus). Experience in alcohol beverage, food manufacturing, or CPG environmentsFamiliarity with quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance (TTB, FDA, etc.)Experience with laboratory testing methods, proofing, or product evaluation Physical Requirements Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistanceAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, fumes, and varying conditionsAbility to work extended shifts and overtime as neededCulture And BenefitsSazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
