Entry-Level Manufacturing Support

The Entry-Level Manufacturing Support positionat Dura Magnetics, Inc., a premier custom magnetics manufacturer, is designed for individuals who are dependable, curious, motivated, and eager to learn. You will receive firsthand training in magnet processing, machining support, inspection, and shop operations. No prior manufacturing experience is required. This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how their work contributes to the bigger picture, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a team. General Responsibilities: Perform basic manufacturing and assembly tasks with training and support. Use shop tools, gauges, and computer-based systems as instructed. Follow standard operating procedures for quality and safety. Assist with material handling, work order flow, and shop organization. Support machine operators or technicians as needed. Participate actively in on-the-job learning and skill development. Ask questions, seek clarity, and engage in continuous improvement. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Communicate effectively and respectfully with teammates and supervisors. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Basic computer literacy. Able to do basic math such as measurements, simple calculations, and unit conversions. Able to conceptualize spatial relationships (orientation, direction, size). Ability to learn manufacturing processes and follow instructions. Dependable to show up every day, on time, and ready to work. Safety-minded and supports a clean and compliant workplace. Motivated to succeed and align with company goals. Organized and attentive to detail. Strives for improvement and is not complacent. Physical Requirements (Must be able to complete with or without an accommodation): Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Ability to sit or stand for up to the duration of a shift. Ability to perform repetitive actions for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus up to the duration of a shift. High level of manual dexterity to manipulate small parts for up to the duration of a shift.
