We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Analyst who combines traditional institutional underwriting skills with strong AI fluency to support deal analysis, investment committee materials, and the development of scalable internal systems. This role is well-suited for a self-directed analyst who thinks like an owner, operates comfortably across analytics and execution, and sees AI as a practical tool for speed, consistency, and decision quality—not experimentation for its own sake.Core ResponsibilitiesInvestment Analysis & UnderwritingBuild and maintain institutional-quality financial models in ExcelSources & uses, operating cash flows, IRR/NPV, waterfalls, sensitivity and scenario analysisUnderwrite acquisitions, developments, and repositioning strategies across multiple asset classesAnalyze pricing, returns, capital structures, and downside riskPerform market, operating, and cost benchmarking analysisInvestment Memos & Presentation MaterialsPrepare Investment Committee memoranda and deal summariesDevelop clear, concise, and visually compelling materials in PowerPoint and/or Gamma.aiTranslate complex financial and risk concepts into executive-level narrativesSupport investor-facing materials as neededAI, Automation & Internal SystemsDesign, build, and maintain AI agents or workflows to support:Deal screening and underwriting consistencyInvestment memo drafting and versioningFinancial model review, diagnostics, and sensitivity analysisInternal SOP documentation and knowledge managementLeverage AI platforms to improve:Speed and accuracy of underwritingRepeatability of investment frameworksStandardization of internal decision processesCollaborate with senior team members to embed AI tools into:Investment modelsOperating playbooksAsset management and reporting workflowsDeal & Team CoordinationAssist with coordination tasks including:Scheduling internal and external meetingsManaging data rooms and file distributionTracking diligence items and action listsMaintain clean deal documentation and version controlUpdate and manage CRM records (HubSpot experience a plus)Support light project management using Microsoft Planner or similar toolsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field2–5+ years of experience in: Real estate investment/ private equity, Investment banking and/or AccountingReal estate advisory or development underwriting, Asset managementAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (independent model building required)Strong skills in PowerPoint with institutional presentation standardsDemonstrated experience using AI platforms in a professional or analytical contextAI & Technical Skill Set (Required or Strongly Preferred)Experience building or deploying AI agents, workflows, or automationsProficiency with modern AI tools (e.g., LLM-based platforms, agent frameworks, or automation stacks)Ability to translate investment logic into:AI-assisted workflowsSOPsRepeatable analytical processesComfort working across Microsoft 365 and cloud-based collaboration toolsPreferred / Bonus QualificationsExperience underwriting hospitality and/or value-add real estateFamiliarity with Gamma.ai, HubSpot, CoStar, PitchBook, or similar platformsExposure to Power Automate, Notion, or other workflow toolsUnderstanding of real estate JV structures and promote waterfallsExperience in lean, entrepreneurial, or platform-building environmentsKey Traits & Working StyleNatural problem solver with strong judgment and intellectual curiosityForward-thinking; anticipates issues and proposes solutions proactivelyAble to balance detail orientation with strategic perspectiveClear communicator with strong written skillsComfortable operating independently in a remote settingHigh integrity, discretion, and ownership mindsetWhat We OfferDirect exposure to principal-level investment decision making on dynamic/exciting investment opportunitiesOpportunity to help design and scale an AI-enabled investment platform; possible growth role in leading remote AI support teamBroad responsibility across the full investment lifecycleClear path for growth into role of management of other remote financial analyst#J-18808-Ljbffr
