PARAPROFESSIONAL RCM is partnering with a North Suburban Therapeutic Day School seeking paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year. RESPONSIBILITIES: Paraprofessional will work in a special education classroom 1:1 and small groups. Students could be prK-HS aged with a variety of disabilities (cognitively, physically and emotionally. Paraprofessional will work under the direction of the classroom teacher and support academic, social, and emotional learning. Para may collect and record data, provide academic instruction and support, assist in classroom and individual student (behavior) management and other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Paraprofessional must have PEL (Professional Educator License): either a PEL (Para) or a PEL (SUB). Prefer paraprofessional with school-based para experience. Credentials to be collected prior to and upon hire. COMPENSATION: Competitive salary and benefits available for those working 30 hrs/wk or more.
