Technical Lead Software & Systems IntegratorWe are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Software & Systems Integrator to lead integration efforts across complex multi-platform systems. This role serves as the technical authority for systems integration activities, guiding approach and execution while mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with a strong foundation in cybersecurity and networking, as well as the ability to provide detailed customer facing briefs.ResponsibilitiesLead the integration of software components and subsystems across Windows and Linux operating environmentsCreate and deliver customer briefs at key meetings and program reviewsDrive the design, configuration, and maintenance of virtualized infrastructure and containerized environments (Kubernetes)Define and execute black box and grey box testing strategies to validate system functionality and identify defectsDevelop and review technical documentation including test procedures, integration guides, and system configuration recordsArchitect and implement scripting and automation solutions to support integration and DevOps workflowsServe as the technical point of contact for integration issues, coordinating across engineering teams to resolve complex problemsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior integratorsLead configuration management practices and enforce version control standardsOversee system builds, deployments, and environment provisioningEvaluate and recommend tools, processes, and best practices to improve integration efficiency and qualitySupport cybersecurity compliance efforts including certificate management, PKI infrastructure, and secure system configurationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in software integration, systems integration, or a closely related technical roleStrong knowledge of cybersecurity principles with emphasis on PKI, certificate management, and secure communicationsSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network troubleshooting)Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux system administrationProficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts and coordinate across teamsExceptional attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)Experience writing and optimizing database queries (SQL)Relevant cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar)Experience with PKI architecture, certificate lifecycle management, and TLS/SSL implementationKnowledge of network security tools and practices (IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanning)Experience with mobile technologies and mobile device integrationPrior experience in a technical lead or team lead capacityFamiliarity with DoD or government systems integration environmentsIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovationOur Commitment to YouAn exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development.Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation's securityFlexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and moreSee more at gdmissionsystems.com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefitsWorkplace OptionsThis position is on site.
