Supply Chain-Import/Export ManagerLocation: Bartlett, ILSalary: Up to $110,000We are seeking an Import/Export Compliance Manager to serve as the key point of contact for all international trade activities across North America. This role partners closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Engineering, and external vendors to ensure full compliance with global trade regulations while supporting efficient and cost-effective operations.What You’ll OwnLead all import/export compliance activities across the U.S. and MexicoAct as the escalation point for brokers and carriers to ensure timely customs clearanceOversee and ensure accuracy of all trade documentation (commercial invoices, HTS, CoO, ECCN, USMCA, etc.)Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to support compliant inbound and outbound shipmentsEnsure compliance with trade laws (EAR, ITAR, Customs) through documentation, audits, and process controlsDevelop, maintain, and improve import/export policies and proceduresConduct audits and identify process improvements to mitigate risk and drive efficiencyAnalyze freight and logistics data to identify cost savings opportunitiesInvestigate and resolve shipment discrepancies and customer issuesSupport responses to government inquiries, audits, and compliance-related mattersServe as the subject matter expert on trade compliance and best practicesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–7+ years of experience in import/export complianceStrong knowledge of U.S. and international trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, Customs)Background in a manufacturing environment preferredPrior leadership or team management experienceStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyDetail-oriented with the ability to manage complexity and solve problems proactivelyProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plusBilingual Spanish is highly preferredWillingness to travel domestically and internationally as neededBenefits include medical, dental, and vision.
