We are currently hiring Network Engineer to join our Team. *Scope of Service/Task* The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, scalability, and security of wired, wireless, and cloud-connected networks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network protocols, strong hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to operate in fast-paced and mission-critical environments. Network Operations: Network design. Network configurations. Network maintenance. Network after hours support Network Hardware Inventory Verizon and Spectrum and FirstNet Support OTI Internal and Agency External Starlink Infrastructure maintenance *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered * • 8 years of work experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure support. • Solid knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DHCP, DNS). • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade networking equipment. • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark). • Experience with firewalls (e.g., Cisco Meraki) and VPN technologies. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments. • Comfortable working independently and in high-pressure scenarios. Job Type: Contract Pay: $89,658.02 - $107,975.26 per year Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
