Material Handler Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator Amer Technology Inc. in Partnership with Schneider Electric Location: El Paso, TX Employment Type: Full-Time| Temp to hire| Onsite Overview Amer Technology Inc., in collaboration with Schneider Electric, is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team in El Paso, TX. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations in shipping and receiving, order picking, and overall warehouse management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other equipment to ensure the efficient movement of materials and products within the facility. Schedule and Pay 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, $15 per hour 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, $16.25 per hour (limited openings) Key Responsibilities Operate stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials and products Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management Safely handle heavy lifting and materials handling in compliance with OSHA regulations Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring items are properly documented and stored Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocols Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning Support other warehouse functions as needed, including inventory control and stock replenishment Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles, with knowledge of warehouse management systems Certification in stand-up forklift operation preferred; experience with other heavy equipment is a plus Familiarity with order picking, shipping and receiving, and materials handling processes Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Must be able to bend, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds High school diploma or GED required (proof must be provided) Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required Commitment to safety practices and adherence to OSHA standards Why Join Us At Amer Technology Inc., we are proud to partner with Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation.
