Macdonald & Company are partnered with a growing real estate owner and operator to appoint a Director of Property Management to support oversight of its residential portfolio across the Southeast.The company has an established presence within the multifamily sector and continues to expand its portfolio across multiple markets. The successful candidate will join a collaborative leadership team focused on operational performance, portfolio growth, and resident experience.Role SummaryThe Director of Property Management will oversee operational performance across a regional multifamily portfolio while partnering closely with senior leadership to drive occupancy, financial performance, and team development. The role requires a strong operator capable of leading teams, improving processes, and supporting continued portfolio growth.ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Portfolio OversightOversee day-to-day operations across a multifamily portfolio.Drive occupancy, revenue growth, expense management, and overall asset performance.Lead and support regional and onsite property management teams.Monitor leasing activity, resident retention, operational reporting, and property performance metrics.Support implementation of operational processes and best practices across the portfolio.Partner with leadership on operational initiatives and portfolio strategy.Financial & Asset PerformanceReview budgets, forecasts, and operating performance across assets.Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.Support capital improvement initiatives and operational planning.Monitor operational reporting and portfolio performance trends.Leadership & CollaborationCollaborate closely with executive leadership and internal teams.Support recruiting, mentoring, and development of property management personnel.Partner with various departments to support transitions, lease-ups, and operational initiatives.Help drive consistency and accountability across the platform.Requirements7–12 years of multifamily property management experience.Experience overseeing multifamily portfolios across multiple markets preferred.Strong operational and financial management capabilities.Track record leading teams and improving portfolio performance.Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Bachelor’s degree preferred.Please apply today for immediate consideration.
