Local Candidates Only\nMust be able to commute into the office located in 94005.\n\nSUMMARY OF POSITION:\nThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring that all in and outgoing shipping materials are properly handled, received, inventoried, allocated and accounted for during the lifespan of the product.\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\n\nReceives and unloads production materials, supplies, and equipment.\nVerifies and matches shipping cartons, packing slips, and/or bills of lading with materials received.\nResponsible for using all technology implemented for the maintenance of inventory controls.\nStocks received materials in their designated warehouse racks and shelves.\nStages or brings production materials to designated areas for use by the Printing and Mailing Departments\nReturns production materials back to designated area.\nDelivers packages received to all departments and/or personnel.\nPerforms monthly and as requested, inventory counts for all production materials.\nOperates all equipment related to movement of material or product; disposes of pallets not in use.\nOperates forklift, electric or manual pallet jack to transport heavy materials.\nMaintains forklift and electric pallet jack to ensure continued operation of the machines.\nMonitors document shredding process with mobile service vendor.\nSchedules and maintains recycling bin availability with vendor in support of operational needs.\nPrepares and ships all outgoing packages, verifies, and loads outgoing mail.\nFollows all Warehouse and Mailing Department SOPs; ensures timely and efficient shipping/receiving practices.\nCross trained to provide production support during downtime in warehouse responsibilities.\n\n\nAdditional Duties\n\nOrganizes and files all shipping documents.\nUtilizes all current technology available to update collateral status.\nHelps and assists other Operations divisions with their job tasks as needed.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation & Licenses (required):\n\nHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience\nAble to earn and retain certification for the safe operation of all warehouse related equipment\n\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nAble to effectively communicate and use Microsoft office products and to utilize all 3rd party vendor applications associated with the shipping and receiving process.\nA minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment or shipping role\nA minimum of 1 year Forklift Experience and Certification\nDetail oriented.\nAble to troubleshoot and diplomatically resolve any issues that may arise.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate information in a clear and concise manner.\n\n\nPhysical Requirements:\n\nMulti-limb and eye-hand coordination\nAble to stand, bend, reach, stoop, and lift boxes up to 35lbs. and able to use mechanical devices to move materials as available.\nAble to lift and move boxes and materials up to 50% of workday.\nAble to work in a fast-paced environment / multi-tasking with organization and efficiency.\nAble to work overtime as needed.\nAbility to stand for 75% of the employees scheduled full and complete workday.\n
